Ukraine will build a road to Bulgaria and will resume flights to Sofia

July 7 at a joint conference in Kiev, Petro Poroshenko and Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev discussed the construction of a road and a new flight between the two countries, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Poroshenko said that in addition to the funds from the state budget, is planned to attract European Union funds. According to him, today there are several infrastructure projects that will improve the lives of the Bulgarian minority, will help to create new jobs, provide a corridor that will connect not only from Odessa and Bolgrad Reni, but also through Romania and Bulgaria.

– We are building a new road from Ukraine to Bulgaria, to a very short time to complete the construction and to demonstrate that Ukraine and Bulgaria – are very close to each other country – said Poroshenko.

He also said that instructed Infrastructure Minister Andrei Pivovarsky develop the question of resuming flights between Ukraine and Bulgaria, in particular, between Kiev and Sofia. Poroshenko said that the tickets have to do less to Ukrainians and Bulgarians could safely travel.
