BMW acquired the 40-tonne electric truck

The unusual contraption will help the company with production

BMW suddenly announced the completion of its rather surprisingly, um, rulers – the company acquired a 40-ton all-electric truck. But no, the Bavarians did not hit in furostroenie and are not going to expand so i-series – an unusual novelty will help with the production process.

More specifically, a strange-looking truck will be responsible for the transportation of components between the factories of BMW and its partner SCHERM Group, engaged in production of automotive components. The case will take place in Munich, with the Bavarian brand notes that this is the first such experience in Europe.

So will elektromahina Movements shock absorbers, springs and steering parts. And every day will be eight trips. What nameless truck should be sufficient reserve to a modest 100 km. On a full charge is required 4:00.

No further Bavarians did not disclose, but argue that the use of electric cars will reduce emissions of CO 2 11.8 tons per year (apparently, compared with the conventional truck). Well, good, we agree there. Therefore, intelligent design came out.
